Banana Print | Screen Printing

Hand screen printing, unlike mechanised screen printing is a labour intensive process that needs a fine eye in the initial stages to check for errors which if overlooked, would run through the entire length of the yardage.

Patel bhai, our printer, checks each screen against the light for blocks and takes impressions with powder to make sure that the repeats sit accurately. If there are any gaps in theal print, they are touched up with a brush using the same pigment before the fabric is sent for curing.
